On May 4, 2024, NEWDO will join many other talented local performers and nationally acclaimed professional dancers for the signature event of the Green Bay Ballet Festival, Beer and Ballet! Top professional dancers from around the nation come together at The Weidner for a one-night only performance in the heart of Wisconsin. This world-class, family-friendly program features homegrown principal artists returning to give back to their community through the arts. Enjoy a unique evening of ballet curated to Tchaikovsky’s greatest scores, short dance films, and beer tastings from local breweries.
Taylor Ayotte began her formal dance training at age 5 at the Green Bay School of Dance. At age 14, she accepted an invitation to study full-time at the School of American Ballet under Kay Mazzo, Suki Schorer, and Susan Pilarre. She attended summer courses on full scholarship at Pacific Northwest Ballet and the School of American Ballet.
Taylor Ayotte began her formal dance training at age 5 at the Green Bay School of Dance. At age 14, she accepted an invitation to study full-time at the School of American Ballet under Kay Mazzo, Suki Schorer, and Susan Pilarre. She attended summer courses on full scholarship at Pacific Northwest Ballet and the School of American Ballet. Ms. Ayotte’s featured roles with Carolina Ballet include George Balanchine’s Apollo as Calliope, Rubies as the Tall Girl, and Emeralds as the Principal Woman, as well as the Principal Couple in Zalman Raffael’s Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto No 1. Her repertoire also includes George Balanchine’s Agon, Zalman Raffael’s In the Gray, Rhapsody in Blue, and Metaphorical Heart, Robert Weiss’ Sleeping Beauty, Lynn Taylor-Corbett’s Chiaroscuro and The Ugly Duckling, among others.
Joseph Gerhardt began training at age 10 at Mary Pollines. He attended summer programs at Houston Ballet, Orlando Ballet, and Harid Conservatory. In 2017, Joseph was awarded the two year male scholarship to attend the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. His favorite roles include Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet and an originating role in Zalm

When he’s not on stage, Joseph can be found showing houses as a real estate agent.
Alyssa Pilger began her dance training in jazz at Performance Plus Dance Productions. At 15 she transitioned into ballet, training at Timothy M. Draper Center for Dance Education. A year later, Ms.Pilger won first place while competing at Youth American Grand Prix Rhode Island. She completed her training at The School of American Ballet before joining Carolina Ballet in 2012.
Luke Potgieter began ballet training at The School of American Ballet at age 9 under Olga Kostritzky, Jock Soto, Johnathan Stafford and Andrei Kramarevsky. Upon graduating, he joined the Cleveland Ballet directed by Gladisa Guadalupe for their 2015-2016 season. In 2016, Mr. Potgieter spent a year at Pacific Northwest Ballet’s Professional Division before joining Carolina Ballet in 2017.
Yuna Masson-Cariou joins us from Paris, France! In Paris, she studied at Terpsichore Paris, Académie Américaine de danse de Paris, and Académie de danse de Paris before moving to the US to study with the Ballet Chicago Studio Company and STEPS on Broadway.

Yuna has attended summer programs with Violette Verdy in Pont-l’abbé, France, the Princess Grace Academy intensive, Monaco, as well as the Ruth Page and the Joffrey Academy in Chicago.
Her repertoire includes ballets by Marius Petipa, George Balanchine, Ted Seymour, Daniel Duell, Dominique Atwood, Gregory Cianci and Christèle Venet.
In addition to her dancing, she is completing her masters degree in art history.
Eva Chronert, originally from Green Bay, Wisconsin, moved to Carlisle, Pennsylvania to train at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet under the direction of Marcia Dale Weary and Darla Hoover. She then joined the trainee program at Oklahoma City Ballet where she studied for 2 years with Racheal and Ryan Nye. After that she joined Minnesota Ba
Eva Chronert, originally from Green Bay, Wisconsin, moved to Carlisle, Pennsylvania to train at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet under the direction of Marcia Dale Weary and Darla Hoover. She then joined the trainee program at Oklahoma City Ballet where she studied for 2 years with Racheal and Ryan Nye. After that she joined Minnesota Ballet as an apprentice working under Karl von Rabenau and Jennifer Miller. For the 2023/2024 season Eva is dancing with Canyon Concert Ballet. Additionally, she has attended summer programs at The Rock School, Ballet West, San Francisco Ballet, and Milwaukee Ballet. Eva’s repertoire includes works from George Balanchine, Alan Hineline, Marcia Dale Weary, Melinda Howe, Robert Mills, Timothy Josephs, Amanda Herd-Popejoy, and Ryan Nye.
Lilly Meyer grew up in Green Bay, Wisconsin where she started her dance training at the Green Bay School of Dance and Northeastern Wisconsin Dance Organization. She has attended summer programs at Minnesota Conservatory for the Arts, Milwaukee Ballet, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, and Butler Ballet. Lilly is currently at the Universi
Lilly Meyer grew up in Green Bay, Wisconsin where she started her dance training at the Green Bay School of Dance and Northeastern Wisconsin Dance Organization. She has attended summer programs at Minnesota Conservatory for the Arts, Milwaukee Ballet, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, and Butler Ballet. Lilly is currently at the University of Missouri - Kansas City as a freshman obtaining her B.F.A. in Dance. Lilly’s repertoire includes works from Timothy Joesphs, Angie Flanagan, Kristen Throne, Diane Danhieux, Gary Abbott, DeeAnna Hiett, and Tempe Ostergren.
